So I'm off to a Lovecraft Fest?

  Hello All.

 Yep you read the title correctly.  My far better half has conned me into going to sell my wares at a horror festival somewhere. I'm currently sketching out ideas in my sketchpad while I wait urgent bike repairs that will get me both new paper and photocopies. I'm trying to incorperate my murder mystery at a haunted manor into the whole thing. Who knows but I'm aware I won't sell anything but it'll be a fun experience as I'll be with my wonderful K.

I'm back!!

 Hello all.

Sorry for the lack of posts/updates for the last few month. Truth be told I've loads of new work to share but I was stuck working on something that sapped my will to live so I spent a lot less time on the web.

 I'm currently working on a Kickstarter for Abyssal Albion #4 which seem to have stalled out. But my beautiful K and I are working on a comic together that we're hoping to kickstart in the next couple of month - the vast majority is roughed out and ready to be inked up. Oh and apparently and old project is going to be kickstarted soon as well.

 LFC defeated the horrid Mancs 0-3! I was in Cumbria on a bike ride with my la sis and laughed as the news filtered back.

 So here's page 1 of #4  for you to have a look at.

Still not great (boo)

  Morning all.

 So  I'm in pain everywhere and I kept my darling K awake with my relentless coughing last night. As an apology I got up and took the furry hooligan out for a wander while my K got some much needed sleep.

Rainy Tuesday

  Hello all.

 I got back just before it started chucking it down and I'm delighted about that, however I'm out of chocolate so I'll need to head out at some point for more.

 Listening to Black Soul Horde which is always a Lovecraftian delight. 

 I had to draw for a client today and I wanted to get as much of it out of the way as quickly as possible. The result of the main drawing is below, I added the hazy b/g at the last minute and I'll be sending it to the client with and with out it.

The lass is back!!

  Hello all

 Yes you read the title correctly, my beautiful K has returned with tales of wonder and Spanish mystique.

 I for one am delighted she's returned but none were happier than the her ginger loon who didn't leave her side all night (well okay she joined me for a Murdock mystries but thats it).

 Anyway here's a cleaned up version of yesterdays sketch with an added tash for good measure!

Sheep are in the fields

  Hello all.

 Just as the ginger limper seems to have injured herself again the bottom field has once more became a sheep enclosure. But as we're on strictly short walk (or we get told off), it's not really an issue at the moment. Nice to see them again.

 My ever so glamourous K flies off to a writers con in Spain tomorrow and I'm gutted not to be going with her. Still I bet she has a wonderful time and hopefully meets loads of nice people and makes loads of contacts.

New project 2

  Hello again.

 This is the second image from the new comic and I'm happy showing it as it's missing a couple of panels. It took forever to get the background to look even halfway decent and even now I'm not 100% sure it works.

 I'll certainly miss the beautiful one while she's away.

 Oh and I've hurt my arm playing with the stinky kettlebell!!

We met the naughty boys AND snoops!

 It was a dog walk for the ages, we haven't seen the naughty boys for weeks and with Honey on a slightly restricted walking routine I didn't think we would. But then emerging from the frosty mist barking like the world was on fire her two lunatic mates hurtled into view, it was a splendid reunion.

 Oh and we met snoops.

 I spent an hour or so drawing a dragon this evening and trying to make some headway with another page.

 I met the ever so glam K at the church and went for a dog wander and to get some wood.

A none smelly Snoops

  Hello again.

 So on our last two walks with the good natured hellhound that is Snoops he's rolled in a dead deer! The smell is so bad even Honey didn't want to stand next to him, I thought N would be sick but he's made of sterner stuff. After the first morning of rolling in death I thought as we approched that field N would put the lead on Snoops, however I was wrong. N had badly misjudged the sirens smell of rotting meat and allowed Snoops to get into the field without the lead.

 We could see what was taking place and were far too close to N's verbal meltdown. The wonderful thing was throughout both of Snoops death rolls Honey had stayed by my side and watched on as her slightly insane boyfriend had the rolls of his life.

Stinky phone!

  Morning all.

 So as I got up to sort some food out for the ginger loon I discovered my phone has refused to charge!! I've sent my morning greetings to family and chums but it's annoying. Fortunatly I think I'll just be able to send my doodles to the blog directly which negates the need for the stinky phone!

 Beautiful K is out with the limping lass for a short wander and I'm watching the latest Friday with DDubs.

Slow start to Sat

  Morning all.

 This will be an interesting start to the weekend as I have footy, rugby and some sort of dance thing to end the day (with of course by darling K). So not sure how much doodling I'll be getting done today, although I have a plan to take some paper into the dance gig tonight.

Migraine free day!

  Hello all.

 I still didn't go crazy but I started and finished a page for M and did a slight correction on yesterdays (I am however slightly miffed as my proposed cover has disappeared), sent S an almost complete wraparound cover to keep him up to date with progress and I've done the first seven pages in digital rough form to show A. I'm slightly happier with the state of all the projects now. A's is a B/W comic so I should be able to blast through it and push all the shadows and what not.

 Anyway here's a sample snippet of a rough from A's upcoming comic.
