It's been awhile so here's an old splash of ink

Hello all you terribly lovely people and festive greetings.

I sold two copies of Abyassal Albion today in Robs comic shop! I maybe a great salesman but we'll never find out as I had a stich and had to stop while I was ahead.

Met with Daz and had a laugh with the 'Oscar' winning colourist Rob!

Both Plainer Jane and Abyssal Albion will be going live on Comixology on the 16th December! Very excited.

Anyway here's an old bit of a horrid comic which thankfully never came to light.

Gently snoozing with the ever delightful K

More good news!

So this came from the printers today

I'm looking forward to getting my copy. Really pleased that Tom's excited to have his first ever comic out in world, he happily spent the day filling envelopes and waiting in the post office. Hopefully the backers will receive their copies in the upcoming days.

In other news LFC won 3 - 0 to beat their own record for games unbeaten at Anfield. Six first team regulars out with injury and we easily dominated the Foxes.

I need some new paper and it looks like I'll be doing Plainer Jane #2 so I'd better get cracking as I still have Todd's episode 1 pages to do.

 Goodnight splendid people

Congratulations to Sa and Honey!

and just a huge relief to me.

Firstly Sa was released from hospital sore but happy to be going home.

Secondly the Ginger beast that is Honey had her bandages off and was able to show the world her scar. Only the mid-way point with her but signs are positive.

And a third bit of good news but obviously overshadowed by the previous two Abyssal Albion ha been submitted to Comixology! With any luck people will be able to see it on a wider scale. Who knows we may even see an #2.

Its going to be an early night for me, a little reading and some fizzy straws followed by a deep snooze.

 G'night

  Hello all

So I've just been chatting to Tom who's excited to get the comic submitted to as many companies as possible. I'm delighted that he's as pleased with the final thing as he is. This is the last full page that I had to do, just a handfull of panels left and then it'll be onto the next project.

So here's a photo of the last page.

Hope you've all had a splendid day.

Rainy Monday

  Hello all

So the delightfully wayward Honey seems to be coping quite well with life in a crate (we let her out all the time and if K and I are working in the study she comes in there with us).

Here's some of todays ink. Only one full page left and a smattering of panels and Tom's comic is complete. Its been the best comic that I've worked on so far and I'm surprised to say the good pages outnumber the poor. It really has been a joy to work on this so cheers Tom. Hoping to sell it through comixology.

The ever delightful K is still ever delightful and she says 'Hello'

Queue for B n Q was slightly bonkers

 Hello all

I've just finished emailing a client about character sheets and laughing at his love for a Demon witch.

Potential new clients have been in touch with kind words about my scribbles which is always a boost for my ego (I even did 35 skips in a row)!

Not sure how I feel about the below page but its around 1 year old now, drew it on a kitchen table somewhere, the comic overall was quite a pleasant experience so cheers Franky.

The insanely wonderful K dragged me to BnQ for a quick shop, neither of us realised that the wait would be 40+ minutes just to get into the store! Still no art shops open - I don't need anything but if BnQ is open then its time to open all the art shops!!

I'm shattered after taking the bounding Honey for her evening wander so I'll say g'night.

 Internet hugs.

Okay so I may have tore a hammy

 Hey you

So in todays news K got a collie cross pup and I can now barely move. One has nothing to do with the other however both demand attention!

 Stinky skipping.

Colours by the amazing Sean Callahan.

Hope you've enjoyed a corking weekend.

 Hugs
