Friday fest!

  Evening all!

So I finally finished the latest Lady Hardcastle cozy and it was up to it's usual standard so I was thrilled with the outcome. Had a wonderful lay in as the ever so enchanting K took Honey out for her morning wander and even took her out this afternoon as well! I was shocked, shocked I tell you.

While the delightful K was out I was able to crack on with a couple of pages and it felt good to be working on actual comic pages again. I'm enjoying working on the current project but these pages feel more me.

 I'm off.

 Have a fantastic day.

Monday and it rained.

 Hello all

Had a splendid wander with the hooch this morning and it was in the rain (of course I was still in shorts and wellies), love a spot of rain when out for morning wanders.

The amazing K is staying up with her new writers group and is once again terribly excited and nervous so to offset that she's made a fire! Slice is writing a diss track?

I'm off to eat minstrels and sleep.

 Have a lovely evening.

K has her purse stolen!

And I'm not there to help her!!

 Utterly gutted for the lass.

Another promo

  Hello all

So it looks like the Abyssal Albion kickstarter is crawling to its conclusion, not sure if it'll make its money but here's another happy couple of hours doodling and inking.

K is still delightful and happily reading Turf by Tommy Lee Edwards and Jonathan Ross!

 Have a great day.

Bit of an Abyssal Albion promo

Cover Progress

It's been a huge day here. Kim is getting closer to the final colours for the cover AND some copies of her first book arrived at the cottage this morning!

Very proud of her (and delighted she agreed to do the colours).

Cover colours!

  Evening all!

The ever so talented lady K has just blown me away with her cover colours!

Final inks

Really enjoying these tones!!

It's not as dark in real life. The ever dazzling K cleaned it up and complained that none of the lines were straight!!!!

 Hope you've enjoyed your weekend.

I inked this

  Evening all

I inked this while thinking of something else and listening to the ever so delightful K being lectured on food groups by a child.

I wanted to work through some head problems with the characters which of course ended up just been a fun marker pen play.

Speaking of play I got to witness Honey and a couple of Labs playing this morning and it weirdly made me happy - so happy I forgot to get any vid.

Hope you've enjoyed a splendid day.

Abyssal Albion #2 Poster

  Hello all

I enjoyed spending a couple of hours on this last night.

 x

Gently snoozing with the ever delightful K

So this came from the printers today

I'm looking forward to getting my copy. Really pleased that Tom's excited to have his first ever comic out in world, he happily spent the day filling envelopes and waiting in the post office. Hopefully the backers will receive their copies in the upcoming days.

In other news LFC won 3 - 0 to beat their own record for games unbeaten at Anfield. Six first team regulars out with injury and we easily dominated the Foxes.

I need some new paper and it looks like I'll be doing Plainer Jane #2 so I'd better get cracking as I still have Todd's episode 1 pages to do.

 Goodnight splendid people

Page 24

  Hello all

So I've just been chatting to Tom who's excited to get the comic submitted to as many companies as possible. I'm delighted that he's as pleased with the final thing as he is. This is the last full page that I had to do, just a handfull of panels left and then it'll be onto the next project.

So here's a photo of the last page.

Hope you've all had a splendid day.

Back cover Design

  Hello all

Hope you've all had a fantastic day. The ever delightful K went for a wander with the still crazy Honey and managed to tire her out. Tears of joy were wept.

This is the (unfinished), design for the back cover for the horror comic who's name I always forget but Tom the writer is a terribly nice chap. Hope you like it.

 Have a super evening.

A rough that went too far!!

 Hello all

I enjoyed doodling this but alas it looks to similar to the opening page so  it needs to go.

Spent a splendid day drawing a couple of pages for Plainer Jane.

Hope you're all having a great day.

Taking a Break

Tom's pages are really starting to come together with lashings of ink and rainy weather.

 Have an amazing day

New page of Mayhem

  Hey all

Still a little sad about Han but needed to crack on with the horror comic as I'm hopelessly behind.

The pages are looking rather nice though so at least Tom isn't complaining about the quality.

Lots of Woods of Desolation working on this.

Have a great evening (you look lovely by the way)

Stinky tree!!!

 Hello all

Spent the day chuntering to the ever delightful K and drawing this hellish tree.

Had a great conversation with a T-shirt designer last night so it looks like some of my doodles may end up on some shirts. The mock ups looked great.

LFC have signed a fantastic new midfielder, very exciting, whoooo hoooo.

 Have a great evening
