Hello all!
So I drew the roughs out on a sheet of paper took a photo put it in sketchbook pro and then reworked it into something I liked and is almost finished. For the very first time I then took it into clip studio paint to add some solid blacks! I was very excited. I have one panel left to do but I fancy a quick bike ride for some crisps.
Of course I bought a Wayfarer album today.
Really pleased with how this page and clip studio are turning out.

So I spent the morning trying to get to grips with Clip Studio Paint (I've had it long enough) and R has raved about it in the past.
I enjoyed playing with it but I'm going to need to spend a lot more time with it to make it my go to doodling program.

So here's the final doodle of the month (I think). While I was ill it was fun to blast through sketchpads just doodling head shots but I'm bored now and I've probably bored you, sorry.
Next month there will be a lot of different types of sketches/doodles/comic pages.

I so I have a new death metal band I'm loving (cheers G) and that is of course Wayfarer who seem a delightful bunch of chaps.

Such a sad day. I knew that he'd leave one day .. but not at the end of the season. He's enriched all the LFC family and he'll be missed. All I can hope is the team destroy in every competition for the rest of the season.

Hello all.
It's a rubbish afternoon waiting for a client to get back to me and lashings of rain. Anyway to make the day pass that much quicker I'm listening to the Why Files and adding some ink to some doodles.
I'll probably post several of these as I enjoyed not only drawing them but also inking them!

Hello again.
So I started a new sketchpad last night and roughed out around 20 or so headshots of various chancers and characters of which the below doodle is one. There's something quite lovely about quickly sketching out a head in red pencil and then moving onto the next page in a hurry. I happily inked a bunch of the pages this morning before starting a comic page, just very quick ink lines using a dying brush pen that the delightful K brought back from America. I shall be looking on Amazon for some more in the very near future.

Hello again.
I've just eaten my last Kit Kat (after sharing with the wolves last night), so I need to go and get some more from the nearest town.
After many nights of not sleeping the plan today is knacker myself out and go to bed early so I can crack on with some more work in the morning.
Dog walk, kettlebell and a bike ride should come close to killing me.

Afternoon all (again)!
My delightful K has just helped me spell a word and is now downstairs dealing with something more complex than a malfunctioning partner!
LFC won last night 0-4 all the goals came in the second half, Jota and Nunez bagged a brace each! Loads of youngsters on the bench and on the field.
I've found a channel that has New Tricks and Lovejoy at the press of a button, how lucky am I?

Hello all.
I'll be doing a couple of posts today I think as I have a bunch of doodles that I can show. These are just sketchbook doodles to get me back in the flow of drawing again after almost a month of being in bed with a horrid cough and back pain (ah, the delights of getting older).
Any hoo I'll post a few to make up for the lack of January blog posts. And of course a huge 'sorry' to all my clients waiting patiently for my return to the drawing table (of doom).
