Last post of the year!

  Hello all.

 I hope you're enjoying a fantastic day/evening. I'm watching an old episode of Elementary and pondering the past year. On the whole it's been a delight, lots of drawing, lots of dog walks and nowhere near enough of my lovely K.

 This will be the last post of the year because even though I have blogger on my phone I never really got the hang of it. I'll be doodling through out my visit up north and taking photos of said doodles. I'll be working on Harriet and trying to piece together my own comic in a small sketchpad.

 Anyway, I'd like to thank you for taking a look at my scribbles and reading my nonsense.

Friday fest!

  Evening all!

 So I finally finished the latest Lady Hardcastle cozy and it was up to it's usual standard so I was thrilled with the outcome. Had a wonderful lay in as the ever so enchanting K took Honey out for her morning wander and even took her out this afternoon as well! I was shocked, shocked I tell you.

 While the delightful K was out I was able to crack on with a couple of pages and it felt good to be working on actual comic pages again. I'm enjoying working on the current project but these pages feel more me.

Two walk Wednesday

  Hello all.

 So I'm slightly shattered after walking the hoochie mamma twice today (the frosty mist was lovely as we came home this evening).

 As I write this France are 1- 0 up over Morocco with only 20 minutes left to play.

 I doodled one of these earlier on whilst reading a script and trying to figure out a panel/page. Had a great comic afternoon.

 I'm keeping a limpy Honey company while the ever so lovely K goes to collect Slice.

 Good solid client meet with R who is down with the dreaded COVID. He's enjoying the inks so far and I'm having a blast doing the pages so far.

 Anyway it's been a fun day I hope yours has been to.

Bought a new brush

  Hello all.

 I had need to go to Hobbycraft for a new brush, thankfully the ever-loving K drove me! Very slim picking brush wise but I ended up with a round number 4 which may last until the end of the project.

Successful Sunday

  Hello all.

  Once again sorry for the lack of updates lately, it's all been working on a comic I'm not sure if I can show anything so its been slow progress on my own comic. I'm almost finished with the double page shark spread and I have a rather neat ending written down (on a scrap piece of paper somewhere on my desk).

 I'm listening to some Sherlock soundtrack and thinking of pizza.

 The utterly lovely K is out visiting and I'm home alone, I may steal a fallen branch and doodle!

  Hello all.

 Sorry for the lack of updates but I'm busy working on a couple of projects and I can only show work from my own until the client gives me permission to show his work.

 I woke up to discover my beautiful K quite ill to match Alice. Honey is even under the weather having thrown up during the night. 

 She's resting with K (both are snoozing quietly), hopefully everyone will be up and about soon.

A splendid day

  Hello all

 My sis has been watching Button and the photos have been splendid. Murf's and B are quite the pair when out and about! Looking forward to seeing the la lass at Christmas.

 So the below really is the start of something, it's just I'm not 100% sure what. Rob looked non-plussed which amused me.

 Got a couple of Chris Bachlo spiderman/deadpool comics and they are as always a joy to behold.

A grey tone kind of day

  Evening all.

 Currently watching season three of Deadwind and wondering why. I attempted to lay down some grey tones today usuing nothing but my finger and a laptop. It did not go well. Perhaps I'll try again tomorrow (but this time I'll actually use the drawing tablet).

Halloween party.

 Had a nice but painful wander with the furry beast, we met the naughty boys and had a quick stroll with them. Crikey my knee is in bits!

 There's a Halloween party taking place at the house this evening so I'm heading off to town.

I was a Hero today

  Evening all.

 After giving it a great deal of thought I spent the day in bed, after washing up, hoovering but most importantly finding the beautiful K's missing Bluetooth headphone things (been missing for weeks)!

 The day could only go downhill from there, so I did the right thing and went back to bed.

Birthday

  Hello all.

  Had a lovely wander with Honey and the delightful but ever so slightly grumpy K (sticks were broken and we wandered a bit further than usual). I have a new more powerful smoothie maker which has just been broken in, twice the power and I can make extra if needed - love it. So, it's been a just shy of a year that I've been having at least one smoothie a day and I'm still loving them!

 I had a dream that I was directing an action movie last night and the soundtrack was BlackBraid. So, I'm listening to them now. I should do a short comic about the mayhem a native American Indian death metal band find themselves in while saving the life of the president of the United States, it would be a corker.

 Anyway, I'm off to buy a dog treat and some chocolate and crisps.

Beyond annoyed!

  Morning all!

 So, I woke up to discover that PayPal had found against me!! Even though I did the work had zoom meetings with the client and I had nothing to do with the payment mix up! So, I'm not very happy with PayPal or the client (he received an angry email this morning).

 The utterly wonderful K has taken the ginger spice out for her Sat' beach wander so I'm assuming mayhem will ensue. Hopefully it'll be a quiet day pottering with the ever so lovely lass and doodling.

  Bit of a keystone cops start to the day today, the utterly beautiful K forgot, lost or just misplaced so many things I just laughed at her. It ended with the delightful one actually going off to her workspace without her lunch!

Return of the Snoop Dog

  Evening all.

 As I write this LFC are 2-1 up against Rangers in the return leg.

 As written above we bumped into snoops this morning and the usual chaos ensued. Honey fell asleep on the sofa upon her return. 

 Had a lovely day with the sexy K that included a visit to my old Sazbos and my cooking dinner for her (without chilies).

Late start to the day

  Afternoon all.

 I had a rather late start to the day, but what a lovely walk we had in the autumnal sunshine. I've doodled for most of the day but nothing project wise. I did get some great feedback from my newest client yesterday so I'm delighted with the way things are going.

 Bus passes, boys and bad breath have all contributed to Slices foul mood (but I'm amused - stinker that I am).

 Here's another Inktober doodle, I'm enjoying working on these.

Rainy start to the week

 Morning all.

 Had a lovely stroll in the rain with Honey this morning. Climbed back into bed to get warm and the ever lovely K came and kept me company. We watched 80's TV theme tunes and opening credits - a happy morning indeed.

 Had a meeting with a client last night who was actually happy with how the roughs turned out, yay!

An excellent end to the week (so far)

  Hello all!

 It's bright and sunny outside but I wouldn't know because I got to have lay in this morning. The ever so delightful K grumbled her way out of bed and walked the H bomb, leaving me to read a rubbish book and begin the days doodles.

 Here's the first of the day. I'm going for a Mignola/Samnee sort of vibe. I'm drawing them in a little A5 sketchbook so there's not really much room for details.

Bit of a scare!

  Hello all!

 So had a bit of a PayPal scare late last night. A potential client apparently had complained about a payment made to me. Just had a quick meeting with the client and there had been a mix up, so a bit of a relief for me. Hopefully this can be cleared up quickly and I can get back to using PayPal.

 Excellent day with the ever lovely K and the stinker H-bomb!

 So it's been an up and down day so far, knee pain, fun wander with ginger spice, horrid drawing issue with a panel and a slight argument with the beautiful K about a panel.

 I saw Honey stand on her back legs this morning in the hope of getting a look at her mate Snoops. I pointed out to her that she'd been limping earlier! Furry rotter.

Sunday wanders

 Hello all.

 I had an unscheduled dog wander this morning where a very excited Honey and Snoop crashed through my rather bad knee making it a tad worse. The puppy romance continues apace as Snoop ran away from his owner just to say 'hi' to the ginger beast.

 Almost finished with AA#3 and I have to say I'm delighted, it's not been a greatly rewarding project. Still get it finished and move onto other things.

 It's my turn to choose a film to watch and I'm going with one of the first three Gourmet Detective cozies. The lovely K will hate it but I will love it so...

 Had a splendid wander with the hooch this morning and it was in the rain (of course I was still in shorts and wellies), love a spot of rain when out for morning wanders.

 The amazing K is staying up with her new writers group and is once again terribly excited and nervous so to offset that she's made a fire! Slice is writing a diss track?

Afternoon spent doodling Hellboy

  Hello all

 It's been a splendid day involving Hellboy, drawing and inking, bike rides, and laughing at the beautiful K!

 I guess I ruined it at the end but it was good fun while I was doing it. Note to self never do an ink wash over my fav' pens as they aren't waterproof!!!

 Queen was Buried today but I hope everyone has had a day unlike Gams.
