Just Honey and I today

  Evening all

 I've spent a happy day with just the ginger beast and myself. I pretty much finished a storyboard and thought about a back cover. Two very enjoyable wanders through the fields one in  sunshine and the other in a bit of rain.

 Just got a message from my beautiful K and she's on her way back which is nice as I'm wanting to go to sleep.

Slow Start to Sat

  Hello all.

 The delightful K has just rolled out of bed in search of a more exciting life and I now have to go and get some A1 paper to play with an idea.

 Big game tonight and I'm quietly restless.

 The below is an A4 ink test to show K what I want from the page as it saves me having to do it with real ink (The delightful K has the drawing tablet hooked up to her laptop), I enjoy doing the little ink tests it makes me feel like a real artist!

Listening to some Badmarsh and Shri

  Evening all.

 It's been a slow day where I just crashed after scanning a few storyboard frames. The client liked them so I was chuffed and then fell asleep.

 The beautiful K visited the car doctor and got a quote but alas I didn't get a sausage roll!

 Waiting to hear from a potential client - but I may just go to sleep. Did I mention that a potential client promised to send me a contract only to then tell me there'd been a death in the family. This was weeks ago and I haven't heard a peep from him since. I don't mind if he found a different artist but he could have just told me and we could have moved on.

 Honey and I met Hester this morning and that's a dog with way too much energy, but a delight to be around.

 Had a nice wander with Honey this morning (on a ruined ankle) we strolled up to the village and then the crossing. Had a nice chat with Cleggy and his dog Lily.

 K had some good news about her terribly poorly car so that made us smile.

Sorry for the absence

  Hello all!

 I hope you haven't missed me, I've been far too busy walking dogs, getting underfoot, shouting at the gods for yet another flat tire and endlessly drawing pages for clients (and every now and again making the beautiful K smile).

 So I'm working on the extended Space Garters, we're going for a 40 page issue 1 for some insane reason, this means I've done this and Honeypot which is yet to come out (I'll be working on the covers this week), for a combined 80 pages!

 Honey was so happy on our afternoon wander today that she threw herself on the ground and just rolled for the fun of it. I checked for fox shit and thankfully there was none.

 Tomorrow K and I cycle to the post office!
